Tour of Central Victoria
Welcome to the information pages for the Bendigo & District Cycling Club Tour of Central Victoria. This site aims to provide information for riders and interested parties in the lead up to the event and online access to results and information during the running of the race.
This year's event is to be run as a ten club combine. The combine clubs are Bendigo, Castlemaine, Ararat, Horsham, Ballarat/Sebastapol, Echuca/Moama, Shepparton, Albury/Wodonga, Wangaratta and Broadford/ Seymour
Saturday afternoon will feature a single road loop stage from Huntly, via Fosterville, Axedale, Barnadown and return.
Sunday morning's stage for A/B grades is a loop south from Emu Creek via Sutton Grange, Metcalf, Redesdale, returning to Emu Creek past Eppalock. C Grade will turn left towards Redesdale at Sutton Grange and race a shorter loop.
The afternoon will feature a Criterium to be held at Piper Rd, off McDowalls Rd, East Bendigo.
Monday features the final two road stages of the Tour. The morning stage begins at Woodstock and races to the Hill climb finish at Mt Tarrangower via Newbridge, Eddington and Baringhup.
The final stage will start from the picnic ground at the base of Mt Tarrangower, loop through Maldon and return to Woodstock.
Presentations following the last stage will be held at the Allies Hotel in Marong.
